End Foolish Tariffs and Cap Essential Grocery Prices
Grocery prices have risen 30% since 2020, increasing the cost of feeding a family of four over $1,000/month. Halting the inflationary tariff policies of the Trump administration will reduce costs for imports and legislating for increased competition in the now monopolized food industry will keep consumer costs down.
Restore SNAP
H.R.1 cut funding used to feed children. Feeding children is non-negotiable, so I will make it a priority to restore that funding.
Support for Farmers
I support stable market access for all farms, especially family farms, subsidies to enhance soil health and climate resilience, and efforts to strengthen the Packers & Stockyards Act to crack down on monopolies.
